I spent a great time here, totally recommend to anyone. I really enjoyed this secure hotel and stayed for 1 night here. The breakfast was reasonably good with amazing desserts and the pool was heated. The pool villa was elegant with large bathroom, bath up and stocked complimentary mini-bar. The venue staff was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and charming.

The pool villa was elegant and in good condition, plus wake-up service was available.

The personel is friendly, it's clean, the rooms are spacious. When we ordered wine in the room, they made that into a very romantic event with candles and cake.

Other hotels offer courtesy airport pick-up. Kamandalu would us charge 40 US$, which is twice as much as a normal taxidriver. The room was very clean however it smelled a bit damp. The food was not very much to our liking, the restaurant too big, with a very bad entertainment singer (our opinion, I'm sure there were people who liked him).

Clean hotel in an amazing building. Very close to an Indonesian restaurant, Ubud Market by shuttle bus, and activities on the east side of Ubud like Tegallalang rice paddies and Mount Batur. - Spacious room with a bathtub. - Reasonably good breakfast by the water. - Awesome location.

Convenient location, beautiful site, very quite (except the airconditioning in room, see below), relaxing, very friendly staff. In one word : nice.

The first night we did not sleep well at all because of some bugs in the bed sheets (dust mites). The staff changed all sheets and cleaned the bed upon our request and the second nite was much better except for the rather noisy airconditioning. This item definetely needs upgrading.

A nice size units with stocked complimentary mini-bar, bath up plus huge bathroom, and the staff were well-trained.

The rooms were super clean and well-maintained, plus they had beautiful views and a cool outdoor shower. 🚿 Also, can’t forget about the swim-up bar - what a pleasant surprise!

Pool would've been nicer if faced outward i.e. the villas.

The ambient was great, surrounded by greeneries, the staffs were friendly & helpful. The food was great too. The room was spacious & wif privacy. Service was excellent.

The mineral water given to us should be in plastic bottle so that we can bring along with us. Would be great if there are more facilities like steam bath, gym or table tennis.

Kamandalu perfectly blends Bali architectural elements with luxuries and modern facilities. Together with the surrounding rice fields, it made me feel like living in a Bali Palace. Besides, it kept a certain distance from the town center that made it a wonderful place for a silent and relaxing retreat from busy city life. When talking about the professionalism of services provided, staff in the resort was always helpful and was willing to fulfill whatever requests I made. In short, my stay in Kamandalu was a dream and wonderfuly experience.

It was a bit much to cost idr 500,000 to travel to / from the Ubud Center and the resort.

Comfortable beds and a stocked mini bar, along with satellite TV and easy climate control make for a cozy stay. the spacious bathroom features a nice bathtub with good drainage. 🛁
